The Architectural History Collection has been divided into two sections: the Architectural History Picture Collection and the rarities in the collection of drawings of cultural environments.
The focus of the Architectural History Picture Collection has been on the inventory and documentation of the built environment and its change. The establishment of the Architectural History Picture Collection ended in connection with the organisational reform of the National Board of Antiquities on 1 May 2011.
The rarities in the collection of drawings of cultural environments include old, original construction and dimensional drawings related to the built environment with national significance that have been received as donations or created as a result of the National Board of Antiquities’ own activities.
