Alikartano Manor’s history and nature path

The history and nature path running through the yard and park introduces the visitor to the history and vegetation of the surroundings. The path is ca. 800 metres long, and the visitor can freely choose the direction in which to walk around it. The route for the path is marked on the attached map. The visitors are asked not to touch the vegetation. During the time of C. F. Nordenskiöld (1702-1779) exotic fruits and vegetables were planted in the manor's greenhouse, for example grapes and apricots. The garden was full of colourful flowers and other vegetation aswell. The manor had its own orchards and a dam with a small pond. The Nordenskiöld's family tomb is located nearby the manor.
