The Museum of Cultures is situated in Tennispalatsi (Tennis Palace), about 500 metres from the Railway Station near the Kamppi metro station and the Buss station (Salomonkatu 15 / Eteläinen Rautatienkatu 8, Helsinki). The nearest tram stop is Lasipalatsi / Mannerheimintie (300 metres).

The entrance to the Museum of Cultures and the museum shop is situated on the second floor with easy access from the ground floor by stairs, escalator and lift. The entrance to the Helsinki Art Museum is next door.

A guarded cloakroom shared by the two museums can be used free of charge. You can find it on the 2nd floor of Tennispalatsi near the museum entrances. Lockers functioning with 20 cent coins are also available. The lockers must be empty by 8.30 pm.

The Tennispalatsi museums share a rest room for the disabled where there is also baby-changing facilities. Baby slings, pushchairs and wheelchairs are available. The hearing-impaired can borrow a portable induction loop and a portable amplifier at the ticket office.

There is a multiplex movie theatre Finnkino and several cafes and restaurants in Tennispalatsi. The Kamppi shopping center is situated on the south side of Tennispalatsi.
