Premises for hire

All kinds of events, small family events, corporate dinners, music and theater performances, can be held in the halls and rooms of Olavinlinna.   The castle houses facilities for hire for meetings, seminars, celebrations and exhibitions. Further information: tel. +358 15 532 042, olinna@nba.fi

	Great Courtyard - from the end of May till August an open-air stage and auditorium with 2 200 seats covered with an awning. In the old days in the Great Courtyard there used to be among other things workshops, wooden huts and barracks.

	2. Great Hall - the summer cafe and restaurant, also for private occasions 60 seats Originally the soldiers dined in the Great Hall.
	3. King's Hall - the grand hall for dinners 80-100 seats During the Middle Ages the officers ate and spent time in the King's Hall and important quests were entertained there. The Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus II had the King's Hall in his use when he visited Olavinlinna in 1622.
	4. Conference Hall - a hall for conferences and lectures 90 seats (with chairs and tables) 150 seats without tables Conference Hall used to be a room for the soldiers to practice fencing, fighting and other important military skills.
	5. Central Hall - the cocktail and dance hall of the castle During the Middle Ages the Central Hall was divided into two floors with accomodation chambers in them.
	6. Ground Floor of the Bell Tower Max. 20 seats Ground Floor of the Bell Tower was a storage where gunpowder and projectiles among other things were kept.
	7. The Ecumenical Chapel - the church of the castle for weddings, christenings and small moments of prayer 40 seats The chapel has been a church already during the Middle Ages.
