National Museum entry fees 2013

Adults 8 euros €.

Reduced 6 euros €
(students, senior citizens over 65 years, conscripts and groups more than 10 persons).

Entry is free for those under 18 years.

1 euro € off full admission fee with S Priviledge Card.
Free admission on Friday from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m.

Free admission on International Museum Day 18 May and Helsinki Day 12 June.
Free admission with Helsinki Card.

Free admission for groups of day-care children and schoolchildren and teachers planning a museum visit. Teachers and supervising adults accompanying groups of day-care children, schoolchildren and students, also have free entrance.

Free admission for all under 18-year-olds and groups of full-time students (upper secondary education groups, higher education groups, universities and polytechnics).

The ceiling of the entrance hall is decorated with frescoes painted by Akseli Gallen-Kallela in 1928. The themes of the frescoes are scenes from the Kalevala folk poetry epic.

We accept cash, credit cards, vouchers (Travel Agencies), invoicing and Smartum kulttuuriseteli.

Invoicing: Registered organisations and companies with a Business ID in Finland can be invoiced afterwards. The invoicing address and Business ID are required. No invoicing surcharge.
