National Museum entry fees 2012


Adults 8,00 euros.

Reduced 6,00 euros (students, senior citizens over 65 years, conscripts and groups more than 10 persons).

Entry is free for those under 18 years.

1 euro off full admission fee with S Priviledge Card.

Free admission on Friday from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m.

Free entry with Helsinki Card.

Free admission for groups of day-care children and schoolchildren and teachers planning a museum visit. Teachers and supervising adults accompanying groups of day-care children, schoolchildren and students, also have free entrance.

Free admission for all under 18-year-olds and groups of full-time students (upper secondary education groups, higher education groups, universities and polytechnics).

The ceiling of the entrance hall is decorated with frescoes painted by Akseli Gallen-Kallela in 1928. The themes of the frescoes are scenes from the Kalevala folk poetry epic.
